Pierogi(Filled Pasta)

  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 eggs, well beaten
  • 3 to 4 Tbsp. water

    Knead all together making a stiff but workable dough.

    (I put all the ingredients in the food processor and mix for about 1 minute.)

    Then let stand for 30 minutes.

    Divide in half and roll out very thin and cut into 2-inch squares.

    Place a teaspoon of filling on every square and then fold each to make a three-corned shape, pressing edges well together.

    Drop into boiling salted water; cook 15 minutes.

    Drain.

    Serve them sauteed until golden; garnish with some diced onion and bacon to your desire.
