  • 3/4 stick butter
  • 3 handfuls fine smashed egg noodles
  • 1 onion, chopped fine
  • 1 c. Uncle Ben's rice
  • 2 3/4 c. chicken broth (3 chicken bouillon cubes with 2 3/4 c. water)
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Melt butter in frying pan.

    Add noodles and onion; fry until light golden brown.

    Add rice and stir until coated with butter. Add broth and salt; stir well and simmer for 25 minutes, covered.
