Ingredients

  • 1/2 to 1 c. water
  • 1/4 k. pork, sliced into 1-inch strips
  • 1/3 c. tomato, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. chopped ginger
  • 1/4 c. bagoong (alamang)
  • 4 eggplants, quartered
  • 2 pieces ampalaya or amargoso, quartered
  • 1/2 tsp. ajinomoto
  • salt to taste

Directions

    Boil 1/2 to 1 cup water in a saucepan.

    Drop the pork, tomatoes, garlic, ginger and bagoong.

    Simmer until pork is tender.

    Add the ampalaya and eggplants and cook until done. Season with ajinomoto and salt, if necessary.
