- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained, reserving 2 Tbsp. juice
- 1 1/2 tsp. evaporated milk
- 3/4 c. chopped pecans
- 1 box vanilla wafers
- 1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
Directions

1Cream butter, add sugar and mix well.

2Add egg, mix well. Add evaporated milk and pineapple.

3Fold in pecans.

4Alternate layers of wafers with pineapple mixture in a 9 x 13-inch greased dish. Should make 2 layers.

5Top with Cool Whip.

6Chill for 12 hours or more.
