- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 (8 ounce) can pineapple tidbits, do not drain
- 1 (16 ounce) can sliced beets, drained
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Directions

1In saucepan, mix brown sugar, cornstarch, and salt.

2Add pineapple and bring to a boil, stirring.

3Boil and stir for 1 minute.

4Add beets, butter, and lemon juice.

5Cook on med for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
