Pineapple Cake

- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 c. crushed pineapple
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 box vanilla pie filling
Directions

1Bake cake according to directions in a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan. When done, take pineapple and sugar; heat on top of stove until sugar is dissolved.

2Do not let boil.

3Poke holes in cake, pour pineapple mixture over top of cake.

4Cook vanilla pie filling as directed.

5Pour evenly over pineapple.

6Let cool; top with Cool Whip.

7Store in refrigerator.
