Pineapple Caramel Sundae Recipe

  • 1 c. dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 precut fresh pineapple
  • 1 pt. vanilla ice cream

Directions

    Combine first four ingredients in a saucepan and cook over very low heat till the sugar dissolves completely and the sauce is smooth, about 5 min.

    Cut the pineapple into slices and the slices into 1/2 inch wedges.

    Stir the pineapple into the sauce.

    Serve over scoops of ice cream.
