- 1 c. fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1 c. oleo or butter
- 1 c. plus 3 Tbsp. brown sugar (divided use)
- 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple in its juice
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Grease 13 x 9-inch baking dish in a medium saucepan.

3Combine cranberries, 3 tablespoons cornstarch and pineapple.

4Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.

5Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, until cranberry skins pop and mixture thickens, stirring occasionally.
