- 2 c. milk
- 1/3 c. butter
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. cornstarch
- 1 c. milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 can crushed pineapple
- baked pie shell
- whipped topping
Directions

1Heat milk and butter in saucepan.

2Combine sugar and cornstarch.

3Add 1 cup of milk to this; stir until smooth, then add to hot milk, stirring constantly until thick.

4Blend in well beaten eggs to which a little of the hot mixture has been added. Cook about 2 minutes more, stirring constantly.

5Cool.

6Add vanilla.
