Pineapple Crumb Cake

  • 1 large can crushed pineapple or substitute cherry or apple pie filling
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 3/4 c. chopped pecans (optional)
  • 1 box yellow cake mix

Directions

    Mix pineapple, water and sugar in a large baking dish. Sprinkle cake mix on top.

    (Do not mix.)

    Slice butter on top of cake mix.

    Sprinkle nuts on top, if desired.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
