- 1/2 lb. vanilla wafers
- 1/2 c. butter (1/4 lb.)
- 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 2 eggs
- chopped pecans
- 1 can crushed pineapple
- 1/2 pt. heavy cream, whipped
Directions

1Crush vanilla wafers and line bottom of greased 9-inch baking dish, setting aside a small amount.

2Cream butter, sugar and eggs and pour this mixture over wafer crumbs.

3Sprinkle chopped pecans on top.

4Drain liquid from pineapple and place over nuts.

5Top with whipped cream and the remaining wafer crumbs as decoration. Chill at least 4 hours.

6Can be made 1 to 2 days ahead.
