Pineapple Icing

  • 1 small can crushed pineapple (with juice)
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 3/4 stick margarine

Directions

    Bring pineapple juice and sugar to a boil.

    Make thickening of water and flour; add to mixture and cook over low heat until thickened, 2 to 3 minutes.

    Remove from heat and add margarine and pinch of salt.
  4. 4
    Spread over cake while warm.
