Pineapple Licuado

Ingredients
- 2 cups pineapple juice (preferably unsweetened, from the refrigerator section of the market)
- 1/2 fresh pineapple, peeled, cored, and cut into large chunks, plus more chunks for garnish
- 5 cups cold water (preferably spring water)
- 5 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
Directions

1In the jar of a blender, add all the ingredients and pulse briefly until the pineapple chunks are finely chopped (but not a puree).

2You will have to add the ingredients in 2 batches.

3Strain through a medium-mesh strainer.

4Chill well in the refrigerator.

5Serve over ice with a garnish of fresh pineapple.
