  • 1 c. honey
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 egg
  • 2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. Wheat Chex (crushed)
  • 1 c. pineapple juice
  • 3/4 c. chopped nuts

    Grease bottom of 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 3-inch loaf pan.

    Blend honey and butter.

    Beat in egg.

    Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.

    Add half to honey mixture.

    Mix well.

    Add Wheat Chex and pineapple juice.

    Mix well.

    Add rest of flour and nuts. Blend.

    Pour into loaf pan.

    Bake 75 minutes at 350° or until golden brown.
