- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can pineapple slices (undrained)
- 1/4 c. pecan halves
- 3 eggs, separated
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. sifted cake flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/8 tsp. salt
Directions

1Melt butter.

2Sprinkle evenly with brown sugar.

3Drain pineapple, reserving 1/3 cup pineapple juice.

4Set juice aside. Arrange pineapple slices in single layer over brown sugar.

5Place pecan half in center of each pineapple slice; set aside.
