- 1 can crushed pineapple
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 c. chopped nuts
- 1 (10-inch) unbaked pie shell
Directions

1Cook first 3 ingredients together, stirring constantly until thick.

2Cool.

3Cream together cream cheese, sugar and salt; add eggs one at a time, beating after each.

4Add vanilla and milk. Put pineapple mixture in unbaked pie shell.

5Top with cheese mixture and sprinkle with nuts.

6Bake at 400° for 15 minutes; then at 325° for 35 to 40 minutes.

7Inserted toothpicks should come out clean.
