  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. vegetable shortening
  • 10 eggs
  • 3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple, drained

    Add flour, one cup at a time, with 4 eggs; alternately add 3 eggs each additional time. Add salt.

    Stir in pineapple with spatula.

    Pour into a greased tube pan and bake at 300° for 1 1/2 hours.
