- 3 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. vegetable shortening
- 10 eggs
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
Directions

1Cream sugar and shortening thoroughly.

2Add flour, one cup at a time, with 4 eggs; alternately add 3 eggs each additional time. Add salt.

3Stir in pineapple with spatula.

4Pour into a greased tube pan and bake at 300° for 1 1/2 hours.
