- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 2 sticks butter
- 2 3/4 c. sugar
- eggs
- 3 c. plain flour, sifted
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 c. crushed pineapple, undrained
- 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
Directions

1Cream shortening, sugar and butter together.

2Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

3Add flour, sifted with baking powder, alternately with milk.

4Add vanilla, pineapple and juice and blend well.

5Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Place in cold oven.

6Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours or until top springs back.

7Mix powdered sugar, butter and 1 cup drained pineapple and heat to boiling.

8Pour over cake while hot.
