Pineapple Pound Cake

  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. butter
  • 10 eggs
  • 3 c. plain flour, sifted
  • 1 (10 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained (reserve juice)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Cream together butter and sugar until smooth.

    Add eggs, two at a time, mixing well.

    Add flour, sifting and mixing well.

    Add drained pineapple.

    Pour batter into tube pan and bake at 350° for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
