- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 c. butter
- 2 3/4 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3/4 c. crushed pineapple, undrained
Directions

1Combine shortening, butter and sugar.

2Cream until light and fluffy.

3Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one. Combine flour and baking powder.

4Add to creamed mixture, alternating with milk and vanilla and beating well after each addition.

5Bake in tube pan at 325° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
