Pineapple Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf sandwich bread
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
  • 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 egg yolk, beaten
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 3/4 stick margarine, melted

Directions

    Trim crusts from bread and flatten bread with rolling pin. Cream sugar and cream cheese together.

    Add egg yolk, vanilla and pineapple.

    Spread mixture thinly on bread.

    Roll up and cut rolls in halves or thirds.

    Brush with melted butter and roll in cinnamon and sugar mixture.

    Bake at 350° for 12 minutes.

    Lift off cookie sheet and cool.

    Don't eat hot, they will burn your mouth!!!!
