Pineapple Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 large pkg. cream cheese
  • 2 small pkg. or 1 large pkg. lime Jell-O
  • 1 medium can crushed pineapple, drained and save juice (need 1 1/2 c. juice, add water if needed)
  • 1 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton whipped cream
  • 10 maraschino cherries, chopped fine
  • 1/2 c. nuts, chopped
  • 1/2 c. celery, chopped fine

Directions

    Empty Jell-O and cheese in bowl.

    Add hot water until Jell-O is dissolved.

    Add pineapple juice and beat until cheese is dissolved (use beater).

    Set in refrigerator until firm, but not solid.

    Add pineapple, nuts, celery and cherries and fold in whipped cream.

    Refrigerate.
