Pineapple Spoon Bread

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs, well beaten
  • 6 slices white bread (crusts removed, if desired)
  • 1 large can (16 oz.) crushed pineapple

Directions

    Cream the butter and sugar.

    Add remaining ingredients and blend well. Grease a 2-quart Pyrex dish.

    Pour remaining into pan and bake 1 hour at 350°.

    This is a good accompaniment to roast pork, fresh ham or baked ham.
