Pineapple Upside-Down Cake

  • 1 box cake mix (white or yellow)
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 can pineapple rings
  • 1 small jar red cherries

Directions

    In large iron skillet, melt margarine; add brown sugar and let melt into margarine.

    Place pineapple rings around sides and middle of skillet.

    Put cherries in center of each pineapple ring. Mix cake as directed on box and pour over pineapple rings.

    Bake at 370° until a toothpick comes out of cake clean.
