- 1 pkg. Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
- 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
- 1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 (20 oz.) can sliced pineapple, drained
- red maraschino cherries, drained and halved
Directions

1Prepare cake mix according to directions on package.

2Melt butter in ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

3Sprinkle brown sugar evenly in pan.

4Arrange pineapple slices on brown sugar.

5Place cherry halves in center of pineapple slices.

6Pour cake batter over pineapple slices.

7Bake according to directions on cake package.

8Cool 5 minutes in pan.

9Remove from pan by turning onto platter.
