Pineapple Upside-Down Cake

- 2 (8 oz.) cans sliced pineapple
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- maraschino cherries
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 white cake mix
Directions

1Drain pineapple, reserving syrup.

2Melt butter in 13 x 9-inch pan.

3Add brown sugar and 2 tablespoons of syrup reserved from pineapple.

4Add water to remaining syrup to make 1 cup.

5Arrange pineapple in bottom of pan.

6Place a cherry in each slice of pineapple.

7Add 1 cup pineapple juice to mixture.

8Put cake mix on top.

9Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes; invert on plate when done.
