- 1 box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
- 1 box Jell-O instant vanilla pudding
- 3/4 c. oil
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 c. butter, melted
- 1/2 c. light brown sugar
- maraschino cherries
- pineapple slices (or crushed)
Directions

1In a large bowl, combine cake mix, vanilla pudding, oil, water, vanilla and eggs.

2In a 13 x 9-inch baking dish; pour butter and brown sugar.

3Arrange pineapple and cherries atop sugar.

4Pour cake batter over cherries and pineapple.

5Bake at 350° just until cake rises; then lower to 300° to get even browning.
