Ingredients

  • 4 to 5 chicken breasts
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 3 to 4 stalks celery
  • 1 can mushrooms, drained
  • 1 chopped green pepper
  • 1 can water chestnuts
  • 1 jar pimentos
  • 1 can sliced ripe olives
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. spaghetti
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 soup can milk
  • 16 oz. grated cheese

Directions

    Boil chicken breasts.

    Strip meat from bone and save broth. Saute onion, celery, mushrooms and green pepper in butter.

    Cook spaghetti in chicken broth and drain.

    Add water chestnuts, olives and pimentos to sauteed mixture and add spaghetti.

    Add soups and milk.

    Stir well.

    Pour mixture into two 9 x 13-inch baking dishes.

    Top each dish with 8 ounces cheese and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

    One pan can be frozen, just omit cheese and cover.
