Pineapple Upside-Down Cake

- 1/2 c. melted butter, divided
- 1 c. brown sugar, divided
- 1 large can pineapple slices, drained
- 1 jar cherries
- 1 box yellow cake mix
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°. Grease two 8-inch round cake pans.

2In each pan combine 1/4 cup melted butter and 1/2 cup brown sugar. Flatten with fork.

3Place 5 pineapple rings in each pan and put a cherry in the center of each ring.

4Prepare cake mix according to directions on box.

5Pour 1/2 of batter over pineapple and cherries in each pan.

6Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

7Turn out on plates before cooling.
