Pineapple Upside Down Cake

- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 stick butter
- 1 can sliced pineapple
- 1 jar maraschino cherries
- 1 yellow cake mix
Directions

1Melt butter in 12-inch iron skillet.

2Mix in brown sugar until smooth.

3Arrange pineapple slices in pan and place cherries inside pineapple holes.

4Mix cake mix accordingly to package directions. Pour into skillet on top of other ingredients.

5Bake at 375 degrees.

6For 40-45 minutes until golden brown.

7Remove from oven. Place plaster over cake and turn upside down.
