  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 can drained pineapple slices
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. milk or pineapple juice
  • 4 tsp. baking powder

    Mix butter, brown sugar and pineapple slices and put in bottom of pan.

    Mix remaining ingredients and pour in pan.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
