Pineapple Upside-Down Cake

- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 can sliced pineapple
- maraschino cherry halves
- 2 eggs (for cake mix)
Directions

1Melt butter in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

2Sprinkle brown sugar in pan.

3Drain pineapple.

4Arrange pineapple and maraschino cherry halves on the sugar mixture.

5Mix cake mix as directed on label. Pour batter over fruit.

6Bake at 350° for about 50 minutes.

7Let stand 5 minutes after removing from oven for topping to begin to set.

8Then turn upside down on cookie sheet.
