  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 12 cup chopped onion
  • 2 (14 ounce) cans chicken broth
  • 3 loaves bread
  • 1 -2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 2 (12 ounce) packages Jimmy Dean sausage
  • butter
  • salt
  • pepper

Directions

    Tear up bread into bit size pieces- leave out in large bowl 1 day ahead of time.

    In large skillet brown the sausage - add onions and celery when almost complete.

    Stir in Poultry seasoning, salt and pepper - cool.

    Slowly add the sausage mixture to the bread, mix.

    Slowly add chicken broth until mixture is soft and well mixed with the sausage mixture.

    Stuff bird, cook extra stuffing in greased backing dish - tightly covered in 350 oven for approx 45 minute Add extra chicken broth if dry during cooking.
