- 3/4 c. shortening
- 1 c. plus 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 c. sifted flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder (rounded)
- 1 c. milk
- 4 egg whites, beaten
- 24 pink lozengers
Directions

1Dissolve lozengers in the 1 cup of milk overnight.

2Mix shortening and sugar until creamy.

3Add flour, baking powder and milk.

4Fold in beaten egg whites last.

5Pour into greased 2 or 3 cake pans.

6Bake at 350° until done.
