- 1 pt. strawberry ice cream, softened
- 3 oz. pkg. strawberry jello
- 16 oz. pkg. frozen strawberries, partially thawed
- 3/4 c. boiling water
- 9-inch baked pie shell
- whipped cream (optional)
Directions

1Empty jello into blender.

2Add boiling water.

3Let stand 10 seconds to soften.

4Cover; blend 10 seconds or until dissolved. Cut package of strawberries in halves.

5Set one half aside for topping, allowing it to thaw.

6Add other half to gelatin mixture along with ice cream.

7Blend until smooth, about 20 seconds. Chill 5 to 10 minutes or until mixture mounds when spooned, stirring occasionally.

8Put into pie shell.

9Chill 3 to 4 hours or until firm.

10Garnish with strawberries and whipped cream, if desired.
