- 1 chicken (3 to 5 lb.)
- 6 to 10 garlic cloves
- 2 bay leaves
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 c. white vinegar
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- salt (optional)
Directions

1Clean chicken thoroughly with lemon or salt.

2Rinse well. Place all the ingredients into a casserole dish.

3Mix and marinate for at least 1 hour.

4Taste.

5Simmer, but do not mix for 20 to 25 minutes.

6Mix well so the juices are evenly distributed.

7Lower the fire and cook for another 10 minutes. Serve when ready.
