  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 large jar picante or salsa
  • 2 cans pinto beans
  • 1 pkg. cornbread mix
  • 1 tsp. salt

    Brown meat and onion.

    Drain.

    Put into large rectangle baking dish.

    Layer the beans.

    Layer the sauce.

    Pour cornbread mix on top.

    Bake until bread browns at 350° for about 15 minutes.
