- 1 1/2 pounds flank steak
- 3/4 cup sweet potatoes peeled, cooked, and mashed, or y
- 2 tablespoons minced onions dried
- 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chives chopped, or parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
- 1/2 cup mushrooms sliced, steamed
- 2 1/2 cups green beans steamed, or broccoli flowere
- 6 bread sticks
Directions

1Pound steak to flatten slightly. In medium bowl combine sweet potatoes, onion, Parmesan cheese, chives, or parsley and seasoning. Spread to cover steak and top with mushrooms.

2Starting along wide side, roll steak as tight as possible to enclose filling. Secure with wooden picks. Slice into rounds about 1-inch thick (can be prepared to this pint ahead of time).

3Preheat BBQ or broiler and sear steaks about 2 minutes on each side. Continue cooking until done as desired. Serve with green beans or broccoli along with bread sticks. Serves 6.
