- 2 1/2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 package active, dry yeast (2 1/4 teaspoon)
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 Cup Warm Water
- 2 Tablespoons Butter (shortening or lard are fine)
Directions

1-Pre-Heat oven to 425.

2-In a Bowl, combine Yeast, Sugar, & Warm Water.

3-Wait 5-15 minutes for yeast to activate and foam.

4-Add Butter, & Salt
-
5-Add 1 Cup Flour
-
6-Mix until smooth
-
7-Slowly add more flower and mix until dough is firm
-
8-Knead Dough on floured counter about 20 times
-
9-Let rest for 15 mins
-
10-Place dough on baking device and stretch to fit.

11-Bake for 5 minutes.

12-Remove and cool for 5 minutes.

13-Add desired toppings
-
14-Bake for 20-25 minutes
