- 1 lb. pork or veal cutlets
- 1 egg, beaten
- cooking oil
- 1 c. bread crumbs
- 1 small can tomato sauce
- oregano
- garlic salt
- grated cheese
Directions

1Dip cutlets in egg, then crumbs and fry in oil.

2Pour oil off and place cutlets back in layers.

3Pour over tomato sauce and 1/2 can of water.

4Cover between layers.

5Salt to taste and sprinkle with oregano, garlic salt and cheese.

6Add mushrooms, if desired. Simmer for 20 minutes.
