  • 3/4 lb. Italian sausage
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2/3 c. shortening
  • 1/3 plus 1 Tbsp. water

Directions

    Brown meat, drain; combine dry ingredients, cut in shortening as in pie crust, then add meat and cold water.

    Shape into 1-inch balls.

    Bake on cookie sheet at 400° for 10 minutes.

    Serve hot with sauce for dipping.
