- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1 c. warm water
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
Directions

1Prepare pastry.

2In a large bowl dissolve the yeast in the warm water.

3Let stand until foamy 5 to 10 minutes.

4Stir oil and salt into the yeast mixture.

5Using a heavy-duty mixer fitted with the paddle attachment and set on low speed, beat in flour 1/2 cup at a time until a stiff dough forms 5 to 10 minutes.

6Turn the dough out on a lightly floured surface and knead 5 to 10 minutes.

7Add flour to keep from sticking.

8Place in a large bowl.

9Cover with a damp cloth and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
