- 1 1/2 envelopes dry yeast
- 1 1/2 cups lukewarm water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cups flour
- Pinch of salt, if desired
Directions

1Put the yeast, water and oil into the container of a food processor.

2Add the flour and salt and process until the mixture becomes a soft but firm and kneadable mixture.

3If a food processor is not used, soak the yeast in the water and oil.

4Put the flour and salt into a mixing bowl.

5Add the yeast liquid and blend by hand.
-
6Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured board and knead briefly.

7Shape into a ball.

8Place the ball in a mixing bowl and cover.

9Let stand until double in bulk, about 45 minutes to an hour.

10It is now ready to be used for pizzas, calzoni and soon.
