Ingredients
- 4-4 1/2 c. flour
- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 beaten egg
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
Directions

1Preheat oven to 425°.

2In large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups flour yeast and salt.

3Stir in water, egg and oil.

4Beat at low speed with electric mixer for 1/2 minutes scraping sides.

5Beat 3 minutes at high speed.

6By hand stir enough flour to make a moderately stiff dough.

7Put onto floured surface and knead until smooth, about 5 minutes.

8Place into greased bowl, turning once. Cover and let rise until double (about 1 hour).

9Divide dough in two greased 9x9x2 baking pans for sicilian or 2 round 12-14 inch pizza pans.

10Pat out on pans.

11Sicilian let stand 30 minutes. Regular top immediately with desired toppings.

12Bake for 25 minutes.

13(Before putting pizza dough on pans, you can sprinkle with cornmeal).
