Ingredients
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. dry yeast
- 1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. warm water
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. yellow cornmeal
Directions

1Sprinkle yeast over water in a small bowl.

2Stir to dissolve. Let stand about 5 minutes.

3Stir in flour and salt to make a soft dough.

4Turn onto a lightly floured surface.

5Knead until smooth and elastic, about 5 minutes, adding more flour, if needed.

6Shape into a ball and place in a greased bowl; turn to coat.

7Cover and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.

8Preheat oven to 425°. Sprinkle two round 12-inch pizza pans with cornmeal.

9Punch down dough and divide in half.

10Roll or pat into two 12-inch circles. Top as desired.

11Bake 20 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
