Ingredients

  • 2 oz pine nuts
  • 2 oz pimento-stuffed green olives
  • 1 oz fresh basil, leaves stripped from stems
  • 1 slice Prosciutto ham, cut into small strips
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan
  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • None None Marinara sauce or pesto to serve

    Heat a skillet over medium heat and saute the pine nuts, stirring until browned. Remove from the pan and allow to cool. Transfer to a blender along with the olives and basil and blend to a course paste. Fold in the ham and cheese.

    Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Place the pizza dough in a bowl, covered wiyh some damp paper towel. Place the bowl in a warm area of the kitchen for 30 mins.

    In a mixer fitted with a dough hook, knead the pizza dough with the ham mixture for 1 min. Divide into 20 equal portions and shape into 8 inch long sticks. Arrange on the baking sheets and bake for 12-15 mins, until golden brown. Serve with marinara sauce or pesto.
