Ingredients

  • 1 medium green pepper, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 c. sliced mushrooms
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder (with parsley)
  • 1 pkg. spaghetti sauce
  • 1 3/4 c. water
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 10 oz. mostaccioli, cooked and drained
  • 3 oz. thinly sliced pepperoni
  • 3/4 c. grated Mozzarella cheese

Directions

    Saute pepper, onion, mushrooms and garlic powder in vegetable oil until tender.

    Stir in spaghetti sauce, water and tomato paste; blend well.

    Bring sauce to boil; reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes uncovered.

    Add cooked mostaccioli and sliced pepperoni. Blend well.

    Pour in to 12 x 8 x 2-inch casserole.

    Top with cheese.

    Bake at 350° for 15 minutes until cheese is melted.
