  • 7 oz. pkg. macaroni, cooked (about 2 c.)
  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 3/4 c. chopped onion
  • 15 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Brown meat; pour off fat.

    Add onion, stir until tender.

    Stir in sauce and all of the seasonings. Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.

    Then mix egg, milk and beat together and pour over macaroni.

    Mix well.

    Pour macaroni mixture in 13 x 9-inch pan; add sauce with meat and spices over macaroni. Over top put shredded Mozzarella cheese.

    Bake 1/2 hour and let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
