  • food coloring (assorted colors)
  • 1/2 c. salt
  • 2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 Tbsp. cooking oil

Directions

    Mix dry ingredients.

    Add boiling water and then oil and then food coloring.

    Store in covered container or Ziploc bags to keep moist.
  4. 4
    You may use dry, unsweetened jello mix or Kool-Aid mixes to make colors that may not be available by using food coloring.
