  • 1 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. cream of tartar (do not omit)
  • 1 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 to 3 drops flavoring (almond, vanilla)
  • 5 to 6 drops food coloring
  • 1/2 c. salt

Directions

    Mix flour, salt and cream of tartar in saucepan.

    Add all other ingredients. Cook, while stirring, over medium-high heat for 3 minutes or until mixture pulls away from sides of pan. While still warm, knead on counter for 1 minute.

    Store in airtight container.

    Makes enough for 5 to 6 children.
